I got a ridiculous downpour of new followers yesterday (you like me, you really like me). I guess we all really love fish and chips (no surprise there). This is a giant BOOM-KA-POW-THANK-YOU to all of the newbies. Welcome. My blog is your blog. And of course to those who’ve stuck around (even through my not-so-funny-awkward-dorky moments), I’ll never forget you. You guys make it all worth it. Each and every one of you humbles me, and I’m truly grateful for that.

I’ve received a ridiculous amount of new followers in the last couple of days. You know what that means, another thank you shout out. I’m always amazed on how food can bring people together. It’s universal, no matter what language we speak, food is understandable by everyone. Pictures of food, I guess just transcend through space and time. Thank you to all those who follow the blog and enjoy the work I put out. I don’t do this for the followers but you all definitely make it worth the work, 100%. With every new friend, I am humbled a thousand times over. One person in particular deserves a giant “kiitos” for making it all possible. You know who you are. Thank you. And to all the newbies, welcome.

Two of my images have gone over the 1,000 note mark. How did this happen? You guys are too much. Thank you. If I could I would hand you all cupcakes—in honor of the photographs—but such a feat is impossible. So here, have this image I made for you, instead. I took it in San Diego, by the water, on my first visit there a couple months ago. I hope it relaxes you guys.

This morning I woke up rather early. I jumped up out of bed yawning, stretching and roaring like a lion in the jungle. I patted down my bed mane, turned on my computer, set off to the gym and came back to find a whole slew of new followers from yesterday to today. I’m beyond humbled. And wanted to welcome all you newbies. Please, kick off your shoes. Put up your feet. Make yourselves at home. Get comfortable. Can I offer you a drink? Maybe something to eat? My blog is your blog. I came to the realization that I don’t thank all you followers enough. So I’m taking the time now—this very moment in particular—to thank you. Although I do not say it often, know that I am always grateful for your viewership. I created this blog to have a sole place to put up all my random thoughts, music and of course, my art—whether it be my school work, or my daily love and experience with food. I like the fact that I am able to share my photo work with this community, after all food brings us together, but it’s also nice that people out there enjoy it enough to follow. And that my new friends, is humbling to say the least. I would continue to put up my work regardless, however, you guys make it worth putting up. For without you, it would be a rather boring one-sided conversation with myself. Which I already have all too often, as it is. Anyhow, I digress, so a million trillion thank you’s to you. Yes, you.
